The Star: Postal worker advised drug trafficker about mailing dope, prosecutors allege
Thursday, July 16th, 2009A Kansas City area postal worker allegedly advised the leader of a wide-ranging drug trafficking conspiracy about the best way to send dope through the mail, according to indictments announced Thursday.
Prosecutors alleged that Carlos L. Hamilton, a 30-year-old postal worker from Kansas City, Kan., told Rasheed G. Shakur, 40, of Kansas City, about postal security procedures and suggested ways to ship drugs through the mail.
