Going green with your lawn
Make your lawn greener and safer by attending this year’s Johnson County Healthy Yards Expo.
The free event is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at the Lenexa Conference Center, 11184 Lackman Road. It is co-sponsored by various organizations including the city of Overland Park.
The Healthy Yards progr

Vendors will be on hand to sell plants, lawn care products, garden art and more. Experts from the K-State Research & Extension Office will have master gardeners and others on hand to answer questions.
The Linn County Chapter of Americans for Prosperity-Kansas is hosting a grassroots training session in Mound City THIS SATURDAY. We will review the AFP Grassroots Handbook and discuss privatization of government functions.
Please join us from 1-3 p.m. March 19 at the Bunker Hill Community Building (6th and Main, Mound City) and get your own copy of our activist manual. Refreshments will be served.
To help us ensure we have enough seating, please contact AFP-Kansas field director Jim Mullins at jmullins@afphq.org or Linn County Chapter Leader Mary Wilson at redroofranch@yahoo.com.

Tenth Amendment Center and WeRefuse Present:
nullifynow!
The Nullify Now! Tour is sweeping the country!
Do you want to know how to stop the Federal Government dead
in its tracks? Then help bring the Nullify Now! tour featuring Tom Woods as keynote speaker, to the Kansas City area.
You will learn how we can roll back Obamacare, Cap
and Trade, and other unconstitutional expansions of federal
power through nullification, the Jeffersonian solution to an out-of-control Federal government.
Learn:
-Why the Founding Fathers believed that nullification was the
moderate middle ground, not the road to secession.
-Why the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution gives the states the
power to nullify unconstitutional laws. Why states, not the Supreme
Court, should arbitrate disputes between the states and the federal
government over the constitutionality of the federal government’s
actions.
Here is the pledge site for the tour:

We need to raise the funds now to bring this tour to Kansas City. It takes a minimum of 60 days after the funds are raised to set up the tour, so if we want this to happen soon, please pledge your support today. When you make a pledge at The Point, your credit card is not charged until the total funding goal is reached.
