Eagle Forum – ObamaCare Repeal Vote in the Senate Today

Tuesday, February 1st, 2011

Dear Friends:

We just received word that the House-passed health care repeal will be coming to the Senate floor as early as today!

Senate Republican leadership staffers just informed our Capitol Hill office of their plans to attach the House-passed ObamaCare repeal bill (H.R. 2) to the Federal Aviation Authority Authorization (S. 223), which is currently being debated on the Senate floor.

The staff is not certain of the timing, but we wanted to let you know and encourage you to contact your Senators today to urge them to vote to repeal ObamaCare.  Let them know you will be watching to see how they vote and will hold them accountable.

Left unprepared for ObamaCare ruling – Jennifer Rubin

Tuesday, February 1st, 2011

These are complaints, not legal arguments. And they suggest that the left was totally unprepared for the constitutional attack on their beloved handiwork. After all, the recent mocking by the left of conservatives’ reverence for the Constitution suggests they are mystified that a 200-year old document could get in the way of their historic achievement. They are truly nonplussed, and so they vamp, not with reasoned analysis but with an outpouring of adjectives.
