Once again the Johnson County GOP will be holding our 3rd Kansas Day Silent Auction in Topeka on Friday evening Jan 28, 2011. We will also have a special selected wine
basket auction. Items that are popular: wine baskets, book baskets, and children’s
books and items. Look for our famous “Elephant” at the auction.

Special thanks go out to Marearl Denning, Mary Ann Waldenmeyer, Candise Cole, AliceLee Hollister, and Theresa Segraves for organizing this event. If you have any items you would like to donate, please bring them to the Johnson County Republican Party Office. Because the office is not staffed every day, please call (913) 341-8683 before dropping by. You can also call Theresa Segraves at (913) 908-6661 or Candise Cole at (913) 709-8565 to arrange for pickup or someone to meet you at the JCRP Office.

This year the team has put together some awesome items to bid on. Here are some of them:

Rascal Flatts Concert in a Suite:

Enjoy Rascal Flatts in luxury with 2 tickets in KCP&L’s Sprint Center suite. Package includes the tickets plus light refreshments in the suite. Suite ticket holders are allowed through the VIP entrance located on the southwest corner of the arena.
The event will be March 6th at 7:30 p.m.Ticket winners will receive the tickets the week of the event.

Republican Reading Basket:

A Republican Reading Basket in a collectable trunk with leather straps. Emjoy some good reading while munching on delectable treats with this unique gift “basket”.

Valentines Gift Basket:

Make this Valentines Day special with a huge gift basket specially prepared by the ladies of the Johnson County Republican Party.

Marearl Denning Photograph:

Local artist and long-time Republican, Marearl Denning, has donated one of her recent images titled “Emerging Sunflower”.

Assorted Auction Items:

This year’s auction features many new and interesting items like a US Congressional Cookbook, US Senate Christmas Ornament, Francoma Elephant Mugs and assorted bottles of wine.

Please drop by the auction suite during Kansas Day to place your bid on these and many other interesting and collectable items! Items purchased at the auction need to be picked up the night of the auction and paid for with either cash or check.
