Logistics for the 2011 State of the State Address
Governor-elect Sam Brownback’s 2011 State of the State Address will be delivered in the Kansas House Chamber of the State Capitol on January 12, 2011 at 6:30 p.m.
Media parking will be available at the bagged meters on 10th Street.

Kansas Public Television State (KPTS) will provide a live broadcast of the speech from the inside the House Chamber. Other media outlets may contact Jesse Huxman,jhuxman@kpts.org or at 316.838.3090, at KPTS for access information to the satellite feed.
Television and radio crew equipment that will be used during the speech must be inside the House Chamber by 4:00 p.m., on January 12th. Once inside the equipment will not be allowed to leave the chamber until the conclusion of the speech.
Members of the media should allow plenty of time for individual inspections as law enforcement is not responsible for getting people into the Chamber on time – only for ensuring the safety of all those present.
All media interested in covering the Governor-elect’s speech inside the chamber must have a media pass. (Members of the media with session floor passes for 2011 will not need an additional pass) Media passes are made available through the Speaker of the House. To request passes for any reporters, photographers and/or technical staff inside the chamber, please contact Christi Kriegshauser at Christi.Kriegshauser@house.ks.govby 3 p.m. on January 12th.
