Once again we have confirmation of the hoax being perpetrated against us by Obama followers intent on expanding their control over our lives. Amid cries of agony over our alleged rampant destruction of our climate, voices of sanity are barely perceptible. I call your attention to just one of those voices emanating from a most unlikely place – the United Nations building. On September 24, 2007, Dr. Vaclav Klaus, president of the Czech Republic, told the UN Climate Conference that their Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) was monopolistic and one sided. For McDonald’s mini-med health-care plan, a low-cost, limited plan covering about 30,000 hourly fast-food workers, the minimum medical loss ratio was economically unfeasible. The company asked for a waiver, according to memos provided to the Journal.

It turns out lots of other companies are seeking waivers for limited benefit plans — along with some states, like Maine, with a small number of insurers, according to Joseph Antos, a health-care scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank.

Rasmussen on Texas Governor: Perry (R) Opens Double-Digit Lead Over White (D)

The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Perry picking up 53% of the vote, while White, a former mayor of Houston, earns 42% support. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided. (To see question wording, click here.)

Two weeks ago, Perry held a more modest 48% to 42% lead over White. The new numbers move the race from Leans GOP to Solid GOP in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Gubernatorial Scorecard. ┬áIn 10 surveys conducted since February, Perry has received support ranging from 47% to 53%. White’s support has ranged from 38% to 44% during the same period.
