Rasmussen Florida Governor: Scott (R) 41%, Sink (D) 36%, Chiles (I) 8%
The first Rasmussen Reports post-primary look at the Florida Senate race shows Marco Rubio attracting 40% of the vote, while Charlie Crist picks up 30%. The new Democratic nominee Kendrick Meek earns 21% support.
Scott and Sink both have work to do to generate more support from within their own parties. Scott presently earns 70% of Republican voters, while Sink is backed by 65% of Democrats. Chiles draws single-digit support from voters in both parties. Voters not affiliated with either party give 33% support to Scott, 36% to Sink and 12% to Chiles.
