TIAHRT PICKS UP KEY JOHNSON COUNTY ENDORSEMENT
Tiahrt Momentum Grows with Endorsements from NW Johnson County Republicans, Darla Jaye and Sen. Julia Lynn
Overland Park, Kan. – Todd Tiahrt (R-Goddard) today announced that the Northwest Johnson County Republicans organization has endorsed his campaign for the U.S. Senate. As the battleground county in the Senatorial election, the Northwest Johnson County Republican’s endorsement is another example of Tiahrt’s momentum in this critically important area. Tiahrt also recently gained support from conservative radio personality Darla Jaye and state Senator Julia Lynn.
Chairman, Mike Pirner said, “Congressman Todd Tiahrt is the real deal — a true social and fiscal conservative with a complete dedication to building the conservative movement in Kansas. Unlike his opponent, who chose to dodge our candidate forum, Congressman Tiahrt participated and impressed our membership with his clarity on issues and commitment to principle. We enthusiastically endorse his bid for the United States Senate.”
The Northwest Johnson County Republicans is a grassroots network of conservative Republicans within northwest Johnson County that will help elect and support candidates who will uphold the Republican principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, low taxes, traditional values, respect for life, law and order, clean government, personal responsibility, a strong national defense, and patriotism.
The Northwest Johnson County Republicans join the growing list of conservative groups which support Tiahrt, such as the Tea Party Express, the Kansas Federation of College Republicans, the Independence Caucus of Kansas, Concerned Women for America PAC, Kansans for Life PAC, Family Research Council PAC, Citizens United, the Traditional Values Coalition and Eagle Forum.
Tiahrt has also been endorsed by conservative leaders across the state and nation, including Karl Rove, Dr. James Dobson, Steve Forbes, Rep. Mike Pence, former US Attorney General John Ashcroft, Sen. Jim Inhofe, Kansas House Majority Leader Ray Merrick, Kansas House Speaker Pro Tem Arlen Siegfreid, Kansas House Assistant Majority Leader Peggy Mast, Kansas House Majority Whip Rob Olson, 23 Fourth District State Legislators, former Sen. Rick Santorum, Morton Blackwell, Tony Perkins, David Keene, former Sen. George Allen, Congressman Mike Rogers, former Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert, former Congressman Jim Ryun, and conservative talk radio icon Mark Levin.
Tiahrt is the leading conservative running to replace Sam Brownback in the United States Senate. He is the only candidate for the Senate who has never voted for a tax increase, and he has been recognized throughout his career for fighting for lower taxes, traditional values and limited government.
