KMBC – KC Expected To Get 2012 All-Star Game, MLB Commissioner Bud Selig To Make Announcement Wednesday Night

Hosting the All-Star Game is expected to bring millions of dollars with it. KMBC’s Jana Corrie reported that it is estimated 2,500 members of the media will attend, plus tens of thousands of fans and some of baseball’s biggest stars. This is the first major sporting event since Kansas City hosted the Final Four in 1988.
