Northwest Johnson County Republicans to Host Townhall with Todd Tiahrt & Other Statewide Candidates
Today, the Northwest Johnson County Republicans PAC announced they will be hosting a townhall to hear from Congressman Todd Tiahrt, Republican candidate for the United States Senate. The event will occur on Monday, May 24 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the Old Shawnee Town Hall. That is located at 11600 Johnson Drive. Drinks will be provided.
The event will feature speeches from Tiahrt, Insurance Commissioner candidate David Powell and State Treasurer candidate Ron Estes. Those in attendance will then be provided an opportunity to ask questions.
Note: This event was originally intended to be a debate between Todd Tiahrt and Jerry Moran. After several weeks of waiting, the Moran campaign never accepted our invitation. As a result, we decided to change the format into a town hall for both Mr. Tiahrt, as well as provide an opportunity for Mr. Powell and Mr. Estes.
