34% View Michael Steele Favorably In His Home State of Maryland: Rasmussen

He was Maryland’s first African-American lieutenant governor and then ran unsuccessfully for the U.S. Senate. Now Michael Steele is the outspoken chairman of the national Republican Party, but just 34% of voters in his home state have a favorable opinion of him.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely voters in Maryland finds that 56% view Steele unfavorably.
These findings include seven percent (7%) with a very favorable opinion of Steele and 34% who view him very unfavorably.
