CNET: Apple revenue jumps almost 50 percent

Apple has bested Wall Street’s predictions again, this time for its second quarter of 2010 earnings.

On Tuesday Apple reported revenue of $13.5 billion and profits of $3.07 billion, or $3.33 earnings per share. That’s a 49 percent increase from the $9.08 billion in revenue reported in the same quarter a year ago.
