The Star: Blue Valley West teacher gets a national honor

A teacher from Overland Park will be joining the ranks of the National Teachers Hall of Fame.
Five 2009 inductees are to be honored today during a ceremony at Emporia State University in Kansas. They will join 90 others already in the hall.
Set to be honored are Kenneth Bingman of Overland Park; Leslie Nicholas of Kingston, Pa.; Steve Rapp of Abington, Va.; Patrice McCrary of Bowling Green, Ky.; and Jerry Parks of Georgetown, Ky.
