Club for Growth PAC on New Poll in 2010 Toomey-Specter Race
Club:
Susquehanna Polling and Research just did a poll on the Pennsylvania Senate race. Among registered voters, Specter leads by only nine points, 46% to 37%.
We normally don’t put much stock into polls that survey registered voters (as opposed to likely voters), but Susquehanna did a subset of “super voters”, those who have voted in 3 of the last 4 general elections. The results?
Specter – 42%
Toomey – 39%Only 3 points! And Specter has virtually 100% name ID, while Toomey is still unknown to a sizable portion of the electorate. This bodes very well for Toomey.
